"I rented this place for the pier, which I thought met all of my qualifications for a perfect fishing pier out into a bay. And it did! Over about a 48 hour period I caught between 30 and 40 speckled trout (about 1/3 on lures under lights, and the rest on live shrimp one afternoon). Unfortunately, they probably averaged about 13 inches, so they all went back in the water. Also maybe a dozen gafftops, about half of them legal. Lotsa fun."

"My family is from Palacios and we have stayed at several homes there and this is by far the best home we have stayed in. My mother passed away on Monday morning and we decided to still go to Palacios and celebrate her. I will definitely be staying here again. The property was fully furnished. Plenty of towels, kitchen essentials and games for the kids. Not to mention the cable was a plus."

It has everything needed on site, so hassle free after a long on the water fishing. You can park your boat on the property in front of the house which is great. Neighborhood is quiet and there is a gate requiring a code to get into the community. The check in process was a breeze."
