Spring Acre Log Cabin

In a beautiful country setting, this log cabin offers a relaxing atmosphere and tranquil setting next to many acres of woodland with hiking trails. Located only three miles from Historic Strasburg Pa. Very close attractions include, Strasburg Railroad, Sight and Sound Theater, American Music Theater, Tanger Outlets, and many thrift and antique shops.
Located in the heart of Amish country, there many places to experience the fine dining of many Amish recipes. To list a few, Katie's Kitchen, Diener's Restaurant, Agape Cafe and Grill and The Speckled Hen, just to name a few.
For a rainy day there is a pool table, air hockey table, dart board, exercise equipment, and many board games. Two large screen televisions with many movies to choose from. WIFI is not available at this time. we are trying to find a supplier that has signal in this area.

This is a gem.
The property was everything and more. The listing and pictures do not compare when you're actually on the premises. I had such a wonderful time. It was very comfortable, not overdone and we made ourselves at home. Communication was a breeze--before and after our visit. Now I understand why the previous reviews were all excellent. Can't wait to visit again.

place is superb
This place is absolutely beautiful and in perfect condition. Very clean as well. There were 2 couples and we really enjoyed it. If you bring kids it is perfectly laid out and Ken has baby gates everywhere. Ken is an extremely nice guy and will do anything to make your stay perfect. Can't say enough about Ken or his home. Will be back

Exactly as described-perfect for a family get-together!
We loved it! Everything was spotless. Ample space for all of us to eat at the table (plus stools at the kitchen counter), very child-friendly. Enjoyed sitting on porch,kids could play on lawn, Mennonite family next door. Inviting interior with wood beds/dressers and comfortable seating, wall decor. Convenient location near Strasburg, easy parking. If you come Fri nite I recommend picking up food on the way in so you dont have to go out again.

Spring break long weekend
We all enjoyed our stay at Spring Acre Log Cabin. Our group included 4 adults and 6 kids between the ages of 1-14 years old, everyone loved the house and the outdoor space. It was comfortable, the safety gates on the steps were perfect for the smallest member of our party to roam without any concern. My 10 year old loves horses so she enjoyed all of the horse decor in the home. Plenty of activities to keep folks of all ages busy. The home is cozy, the property is beautiful and the location is excellent and convenient to access local attractions. Ken's is wonderful and he was easy and prompt with communcation. Definitely recommend this home, it was a great stay!

Quiet cabin in Amish Country
My family and friends recently stayed at the cabin and had a great time. Plenty of room for 3 families with many options in the house. Owner on site was very helpful and nice! Kids enjoyed feeding the Miniature horses and playing on the property. Satellite TV and no WIFI, Verizon was spotty in the area but we made due; there to get away! Would definitely rent again, was a great experience.

The spacious log cabin/ house was immaculate, well furnished and supplied! The game room was a great bonus! The owner was on site and very willing to help in any way needed. My family enjoyed hiking in the woods adjacent to the property. Highly recommended!

Amazing home
Our family has done many weekend events and this home was at the top of the list. It truly was a turnkey home with everything exactly where you would want it. The kitchen was set up for a large family, linens were spotless with plenty of extras. There are also lots of little touches throughout the house that you would find in your own home. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire place options throughout the property and the animals. It poured on Saturday but it just didn't matter as there was plenty of room to play games and enjoy ourselves inside. The only negative at all is that it is listed as a five bedroom and it's actually only has four bedroom spaces. We were able to make it work, as one of our adults wasn't able to come, but that could have been a real concern. Our hosts met us at the property, showed us everything and asked us to let them know if we needed anything. Great home, great experience

Luxury Lancaster Log Cabin
This is, hands down, the nicest property we’ve ever rented. From the moment we parked our cars we were welcomed by Ken who was the perfect host. Three families fit so comfortably with room to spare. We were blown away by how immaculately clean the home was. We felt like the first guests to ever stay and Ken made us feel like family. We had two 20-month olds, a 5- and 10-year old and each kid found their own favorite feature of the house. The little ones absolutely loved the horses! Ken even let us feed them! I can’t say enough great things about this incredible home. We cannot wait to return next summer!

Great stay for large families
We booked this stay for ourselves, family and friends, because of the close proximity to Sight & Sounds. The house is spacious and beautiful and sits in a beautiful country setting. Ken and Ruthie were wonderful hosts and have thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out or to hang out together. We had a great time playing pool and air hockey, and we also spent alot of time enjoying the large porch. Their ponies are stinkin adorable:) We would definitely stay here again.

Our Stay at Spring Acre Log Cabin
The owners were so sweet and accommodating. Any issues (one ;-)) were dealt with immediately. The house and grounds are beautiful. Two fire pits, horses, quiet, and woodsy in the middle of Amish country and all the touristy things to do in the surrounding area. We could not get it all done.
