"Clean, quiet and affordable. About a half hour outside of Portland which was where we intended to stay until I saw the ridiculous parking fees being charged. This hotel was cheaper, free parking and quite nice. A half hour drive to Portland was a good trade off."
"Admittedly, I may have looked a little road rough entering the hotel. However, the initial transaction with the front desk person was a bit less than desirable due to, I think, the Expedia booking instead of direct. She did seem to warm up when my wife showed up and when she realized I have a Marriott loyalty account. Or perhaps I misread her. Either way, it’s a nice place, just off the highway.
The breakfast was good. I can see that it wouldn’t be for everyone, some simple scrambled eggs would be a great addition.
Checkout was quick and easy. "
"The treehouse is fun. Lots of cute details to discover. The location is good. We saw lots of cute animals. Highly recommend the Cornell Farm Cafe for breakfast. "
