Was a long drive from Fiesta Resort to see volcano, three and a half hour drive. It was cloudy and could only see base of the volcano.

driving up to the lookout point(s) is hard with volcano rock. you almost need an ATV. The pricing is a bit high at $15 pp.

Dont forget your bug spray and good shoes to hike

There are no viewpoints or anything to see unless you are able to walk 1.5 miles, which i think should be posted, as people unable to walk that far will be very disappointed (literally they will only see a parking lot). Also, the "lava fields" were kind of a disappointment as there wasn't much to see.

I expected there to be longer hiking trails. You can really hike the loop and to the lookout point in a couple of hours max. I did the loop twice and I think it only took me a couple of hours. I really wanted a solid 6-8 hour hiking day.
