“We stayed for a long weekend and it was just what we all needed. Our oldest is graduating high school and it was perfect to spend that time with him as a whole family. The home had everything we needed. We made meals and wanted for nothing. The area has more than enough to do as well. Definitely recommend to any family needed to unplug”

“We had a great adventure coming to ski for a few days. The house is very close to the slopes. What I did not anticipate was coming into town in a snowstorm. Very thankful for a kind snow plow truck who cleared the way for our van to make it Down the road and then up the hill to be able to make it into the house. Great memories! ”

“The place was more open than we expected which was nice so we didn’t feel cramped since we had 4 different families there. There was plenty for the kids to do. They had a hottub which we didn’t know about till we got there. So easy to check in and out. Very nice place to stay 10/10”

“Early spring was perfect for my husband and I to get away to this cabin and watch nature emerge from the cold of winter. We had a wonderful time with our doggies, and the host was so helpful! ”

“My extended family got together for a ski weekend at Massanutten. The Chalet provided a great space for family meals and fun in between skiing and snow tubing. The resort was a short drive away. Large driveway for parking. Well-stocked kitchen. Extra blankets that were perfect for cozying up by the downstairs fire while the kids played pool and ping pong. We’ll be back! ”

“The location is well apointed, clean, and unique in the Massanutten area for the attention to detail, cleanliness and amenities. The kitchen is very well equipped and easy to cook in, with a thoughtful inclusion of provisions like coffee and tea, pans for just about any meal, and plenty of dishware. The dining table is large (seats at least 8) and the living room is close enough to carry on conversation with those in the kitchen/dining area. Fireplaces in several rooms are a plus. “Our stay was very enjoyable, the host was extremely responsive and helpful. The cabin itself is in a gorgeous location, when they say secluded they meant it! WiFi and internet service were very reliable, there were a couple great places to eat in the tiny town nearby (check out The Italian Job, you won’t regret it!) and Walmart was about 20 minutes away for the essentials. There wasn’t much in the way of festive offerings- we went in mid December - but the town was cute. Keep in mind some of……

“Couldn't ask for a better spot! close to the slopes and plenty of space for your group to spread out. Check in was super easy and owner provides a list of all home information. Check out was straight forward and home comes with all the essentials. Looking forward to staying here again!”

“My siblings and I have started a new tradition of renting a house for Thanksgiving so that we can all come together with our children and enjoy the holiday under one roof. We were not able to find a place we liked within Massanutten this year, so we took a chance on this house located in Elkton. We were very glad that we did. “Beautiful house and perfect one for a friends getaway. Living area was great with high ceilings with so much of sunlight in the morning. Steve was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. We especially loved the games like poker in the game room. Well spent weekend and would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting the area!”
