The canola fields brighten the landscape in April near Badefols d'Ans, Dordogne.

This chateau is tiny compared to the famous nearby Hautefort castle but it has its own charm. The castle was partially destroyed by the Germans during the Second World War because of its owner's involvement in the Resistance, but rebuilt following the war. It still belongs to the same ancient family but opens once a year for visitors.

L'endroit (ideal pour des footing), l'accueil, la chambre et surtout LE STYLE "chalet... en longueur). 2 points negatifs si je devait en trouver - les lumieres des wc qui s'eteignent... 10 minutes plus ...

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end. Bénédicte est hyper réactive et conciliante, la maison ne donne effectivement pas dans le luxe mais est parfaitement équipée. L'espace aquatique est top. Nous reviendront sans aucun doute.
