"CTY Books is in the perfect spot in Leiden, with a market just outside twice a week. Lots of amazing pubs/restaurants around too! The room was lovely (we had the loft) with a perfect view of the canal! "

"Beautiful property in a wonderful location. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again, but there are a lot of steep stairs up to the room and in the room itself. This might be trouble from people with mobility issues. "

"Very functional, nicely decorated lobby & rooms with all the things you need for a comfortable stay!
The big photo outside the window made the wall much more appealing & added a little extra special touch. Loved the coffee/ tea kettle in the room & how close it was to the market & city center. Would definitely come again!! "

"Right on the canal up from the old city but close to train station, too, the hotel is perfectly located. Great vibe to the lobby and pub on site. Nice rooms. And great pubs and restaurants right outside the door. "

"Nice, traditional period hotel, overlooking a canal. 5 adjacent buildings joined together with antique furniture here and there. Friendly, helpful reception, nice breakfast. Super location for wandering around the very attractive university town of Leiden. Only downside is that cars have to be parked 800 metres away in Haagweg public car park. ( expect to pay about €23 overnight). "

"Absolutely stunning scenery in the countryside to go with quiet, quaint hotel rooms. The escape from loud, busy city life was wonderful and the staff there was welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast buffet had a little bit of everything as well. Wish we had stayed longer and will definitely be back! "

"The Tulip Inn is a very well appointed property with a range of facilities. The staff are welcoming and most amenable. The restaurant provides a fine range of cuisine.
This property is conveniently placed for all the amenities of Leiden. It is situated directly opposite the bus and rail stations providing links to the local area as well as all other areas of the Netherlands and beyond.
Thoroughly recommended."
"Excellent stay at the apartment. We were a group of 9 middle-aged male cyclists and the location and facilities were ideal for our purposes. The apartment was well equipped and the 'party room' downstairs served as an excellent bike store and communal area. The host was very friendly and helpful and certainly added to an enjoyable stay."
"Amazing room although could use a freshen up paint wise . Housekeeping was hit and miss but didn’t really bother us . If you stay in the Virginia Wolfe suite be prepared for some notice and NO privacy from the street of your shutters are open., also everytime someone opens and shuts the main door you Weill hear and feel it in this suite . All that being said it was a great place to stay and a great location, easy to get to public transport and restaurants and bars. Leiden itself is beautiful rain hail or shine . "
"The property is in a great location and contains all you need for a great holiday. Bicycles and canoes are available to use. Two restaurants in the village and regular bus service to Leiden. Easy to get to Amsterdam using public transport too. Amber and family were responsive and welcoming."
"Top shelf! We booked last minute as we weren’t sure where we would end up on our roadtrip. Our room-with three beds as requested-was ready when we walked in. The room itself was lovely-well appointed and very comfortable. The balcony was also really nice. The on site restaurant is wonderful and ending our evening with drinks on the canal was perfect. We added breakfast and it was fantastic. We will absolutely stay again!"
"We had a wonderful stay at the lake house- Stephen was super accommodating and responsive. The house itself was well equipt and fit our family of 5 with lots of extra space. The location is perfect close to large centres and easy access to Schipol. Highly recommend this house for families"
"Fabulous boutique hotel in an excellent location near several good restaurants and Pieterskerk. Excellent breakfasts are offered in the hotel restaurant. Hotel room had everything one needs- small fridge with wine and water, nespresso coffee machine, excellent shower and comfortable bed. Easily walkable from Leiden Central. "
