Very nice ambiance. Intimate setting, great for a weekend stay, and very close to restaurants, grocery, shopping, and entertainment.

Beautiful little space. My partner and I loved it. Sadly we only got to enjoy it for one night. Great walking distance for the live shows at Hawthorne and great food that was a 12 minute walk away.

The Magic Barn is quirky but incredibly cozy! We loved looking out through the skylights and enjoyed not having TV more than we thought we would. Communication was great (both in app and with info in the property. Location was perfect!

I loved it there was a fireplace a kitchen with everything you would need and a bathroom with some extras too. Such a magical place to stay in Portland.

This was a really cute space, very unique and eclectic. Walkable to Hawthorne and Division for lots of great food and shopping. Love the skylights and the plants in the space, made it bright and homey. Only downside is the street noise, but it did quiet down later at night and I slept well. I would definitely stay here again.

My fiance and I loved our stay at the magic Barn. He was perfect for our trip to Portland to see a concert. It was rustic but practical and romantic! Thanks so much to the hosts. We will book again if we're in the area! We especially liked the plants and the rustic wood

We love the uniqueness of this property, it was cozy and serene, the locked gate was especially nice as it made us feel extra safe. The Hawthorne area is quaint and loaded with dining and shopping options; while streets are busy it is quite walkable, and not far from gorgeous areas like Mt. Tabor Park. Comfortable couch and bed, small but well designed bathroom and kitchenette, both stocked with supplies to make the stay simple. Fun colors, rich wood, gorgeous art, and street parking just around the corner; 10/10 would stay again!

Property was clean and cozy. It was great for my wife and I's first trip to Portland. The property is ideally located in the Hawthorne district with plenty of options for immediate access to food and shops. We loved the real life plants inside the cabin.

Walking into the Magic Barn the first time was, in fact, magical. You can really feel the creative energy and sense of fun the owners put into the design. It was great!

Charming and calm place to stay in Portland, with lots of options for funky fun! It is steps from the bus stop which made getting around a breeze. If you are a fun plant loving person, this is a great find. The bathroom has cute doors with windows and is partially open at the top, so if you are traveling with a partner, be prepared for that. However, I always felt like I was making a grand entrance when leaving the bathroom, so it was fun!
