“If you are on a pilgrimage to experience the life of St. Brigid, this is a wonderful place for the journey. It is directly next door to the Cathedral. The Firecastle Market next door is, I presume, owned by the same people. They were so gracious and helpful. Let me store my bags in their tiny office so I could continue to explore. Truly wonderful hospitality all the way around no matter what your reason for visiting Kildare.”

“Nous avions choisi l’Option déjeuner inclus : buffet chaud (déjeuner irlandais) avec aussi station yogourt, céréales, fruits et viennoiseries. Nourriture typique, bonne qualité, beaucoup de places dans la salle à manger. La chambre permettait de loger notre famille de 5 personnes (3 ados); 2 lits doubles et 1 lit simple. Le lit simple était en fait un lit d’appoint avec matelas mince et très peu confortable à cause des ressorts (alors que sur les photos de l’hôtel on voit des chambres avec 2……

“A wonderful peaceful 3-day stop staying in the superior lodge room. The room itself comprised a spacious living area and a similarly large bedroom set a short walk from the castle itself. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast was superb with a great selection of high quality options. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in the area.”
