"We had such an amazing time staying at the Little Gem! The place is a total hidden gem–super cozy, clean, and surrounded by beautiful redwoods and oaks. It felt like our own little peaceful retreat, but still close enough to explore all the cool spots in Big Sur and Carmel.The cabin itself is really charming with a comfy bed, tub for soaking, and a kitchen that had everything we needed. The whole place was spotless, and we appreciated the eco-friendly touches. We loved hanging out outside too, especially the well kept hiking trails and relaxing in the hammock.Brianne and Andrew were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond whenever we had questions. They gave us great local tips that made our trip even better.Location-wise, it’s perfect if you want to be close to nature but still near all the best beaches and trails. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!"

"This place was great. Right off highway 1 and overlooking incredible stretch of pacific coastline. Sea otters in the surf. It is dated and the floor plan is very awkward but it was really clean and just communication was excellent. No cell service which was excellent for our teens. TVs do have every imaginable channel but we honestly spent most of our time exploring the area from the shops in Carmel to the views in Big Sur. This place is right in the middle. Highly recommend!!"

"This is a beautiful house high in the mountains 24 minutes from Carmel Valley. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, large and up to date. The kitchen has everything that you need. The huge porch is overlooking the Carmel river so you can hear the water as it travels past the house. The hot tub is an added bonus. We did not want to leave the moment we arrived.
