"The Mercure is clean but the decor is tired and in need of refurbishment. The reception staff are worth the 5 stars in my review - they are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Truly wonderful staff. Even the cleaners were friendly - so refreshing."

Great place to stay.
"Great place to stay for a short stop gap. Lovely rooms, comfy beds. Could do with a toaster for breakfasts. The Complimentary water is much appreciated. Communication could be better, we emailed a couple of months in advance about the possibility of a ground floor room, but we didn't get a response ..."
