Nice traditional hotel... recommended £60 or less

"The overall status of the hotel is nice, we arrived quite later at 1:00am, but the housekeeping starts knocking doors from 9:30 all the way to 10:40 (about 4 times) to ask people to check out... they really did what their boss told..."

"In all my years (85 yrs old) of travelling I have never come across a more cheerful, caring set of staff than those five lovely folk serving brekky here in this hotel. A pleasure to watch them at work...thank you."

"For what we paid for the room we were not expecting much, from the outside and communal area it looked like its in need of some TLC but we recieved a lovely welcome from reception all reception staff were very friendly, we were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our room, nice big room, ..."
