"Had a wonderful time. Location was in the middle of everything we went to. House had everything we needed. Pretty view of creek from the deck. Only downfall was it was hard to see to pullout onto the road because the bushes were in the way. The owner said he is going to trim then though. "

"We stayed at this beautiful cabin in the woods for three nights over the 4th of July holiday. It was perfect for our two families that included two teens and three pre-teen kids. We were able to explore the Keweenaw easily and even did a day trip over to Isle Royale. Our boys spent as much time possible fishing off the dock while the girls enjoyed the short walk to the beach everyday. The house was very well stocked and very clean. Carla was friendly and super accommodating for us when we needed an unexpected date change. I would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to return one day! "

"The house was clean, comfortable, and ready to relax we when arrived. With a toddler accompanying us, it was a godsend to have a working washer and dryer! The fire ring that was mentioned in the listing was grown up in grass and weeds, but we made due when it was time for s'mores. The view of lake superior was absolutely gorgeous and the waterfall behind the house made for some very soothing background noise. The locals are friendly and the beaches are well kept. We would definitely recommend staying here!"

"An absolute dream come true for me and my family to stay in an actual lighthouse. The amenities were all top notch and the property manager couldn't have been more accommodating and kind. There were fresh cut flowers in each room and bread, coffee, and maple syrup from local shops left on the table for us when we arrived. The view was amazing to watch freighters go by in the sunroom and it was such a great location to use as a home base to explore the Keweenaw. The copper mines, beaches, museums, lighthouses and waterfalls we visited were all no more than 30 minutes away. We even saw an eagle up close on the river that runs next to the lighthouse. I was looking forward to this vacation for so long and I couldn't have imagined it to be any better or more perfect than it was. Thank you for allowing us to be temporary stewards of this beautiful piece of history and good luck on the current project. I can't wait to see it when it's finished!"

"The cottage was great. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were able to see lakers/ships pass in front of the cabin when the weather was clear as well as see stars from inside the cabin with the large picture windows. There is one bedroom with a double and twin bed and there was a king bed in the master bedroom which was very comfortable. I do not normally sleep well when out of town because the beds aren't comfortable but the mattress was very comfortable and I slept great. We were also happy to be able to do several loads of laundry which was nice after exploring different mines and spending our days adventuring. This is a great location for visiting Keweenaw County Historical Society Sites and not bad for going down to Calumet and the Quincy Mine or up to Copper Harbor. My husband enjoyed running in the trails located near the house. We saw some nice sunsets from the porch and enjoyed playing games together (there are many to choose from at the house). "

"Absolutely amazing stay and surprised at how nice everything was when we got there for motel prices!!! The lake was gorgeous and serene the store staff was beyond sweet but we did run into a very rude man at the pizza place at the pool who treated us as if we weren’t welcome and as if we just dropped in asking to use the pool. This was even after we told him we rented 2 aqua log cabins and he said “well, what do you want a tour our something?…” when we waited for wristbands. Other than this encounter every person we ran into was like we’ve known each other for years! And all within an hr and a half from all the sight seeing! Couldn’t have asked for a better location or view! "
