“We came to hike so was great location-relatively short drives to copper harbor, eagle harbor, McLain State park, falls etc.. calumet area has options for dining, groceries etc so you don’t have to drive to Houghton, unless desired. “We really enjoyed our stay here!!! The property was exactly as described and as the pics showed and we used every bit of it!!! All 3 bedrooms and bathrooms, the washer and dryer, dishwasher and every kitchen appliance, utensil, and dish!!! I was able to cook a full thanksgiving dinner without a hitch…The hosts were very responsive to the questions that I had and even checked in to see if all was going well. “It is not a great first impression as there are empty storefronts in the building, and there was a bike parked right in the way when we first walked in the front door. BUT, it is a very good value.
