Good location, clean room. The door in the bathroom was very awkwardly placed, making it almost impossible to access the shower - switch around the hinges! Very clean and good value.

The Indian lady working in the front desk was amazing, however there was a white lady working at night, she was rude and lazy but apart from that, the place is absolutely amazing and I will definitely be staying at this hotel when I'm next in Sacramento.

Room was generally fine, but the sink faucet valve was faulty and the breakfast offerings were minimal. A good breakfast restaurant, Carol’s, is a few minutes’ walk to the left.

Great place to stay for the night that’s reasonable and includes a continental breakfast with waffles. About a 25 min walk to Golden One and Downtown Sac. Would stay again.

1. Smudge of dirt on sheet. Right side of bed. 2. Droplet of dried blood on sheet at foot of bed. 3. Two vials of soap. One was used, 1/4 empty.. 4. I was required to leave a $100.00 deposit at check-in, but was not made aware of this when I booked the room on Hotels.com. I have stayed there twice before and was not required to leave a deposit before, but I did receive the deposit back to my account.

Apparently I requested a smoking room when I booked, my mistake. I asked the front desk if they had anything else available and the guy stated no and that’s what you asked for making me wonder if they actually had something else. Again my bad so we would deal with it. The room stunk horribly due to it being a smoking room, the sheets and pillows as well. We left the next morning stinking so bad and woke up feeling like I had smoked a pack of cigarettes. Horrible feeling for sure. The room was kind of sketchy, cigarette burns in the bathroom, rust through out the room and the comforter had a tear in it. Also the reservation stated free breakfast but they had nothing set up nor did they mentioned it. Not a place I would recommend.

It was pretty quiet and I loved the fact that our room had this extra little side room where I stayed with our little dogs and my two sons stayed out in the main room. Worked out perfectly!

Great Old Sacramento

Went to Sacramento for a women's conference. Was so happy with the hotel and the area. I am an older woman and went alone and never felt any fear. Location is close to Old Sacramento and Golden 1 center. Room was clean and comfortable. It was kind of small but perfect for one or two people. Only bad thing is the "breakfast". Go to a restaurant because their breakfast is toast or cereal or a waffle.

Property a bit tired looking but clean. Shower good. Staff very helpful. Booked 3 rooms last minute late evening as not sure how far we were going to travel en route to Lake Tahoe. Reception very helpful in sorting out the type of rooms we needed. Complementary self service breakfast which included waffle machine, toast, cereal, juice & coffee. Free parking. Would use again for overnight stay if in area.

Spending one night at Sacramento

We checked really late, around midnight. Clerk was all smiles, nice. Next day, I asked to stay longer than 11:00 AM because I had checked late, no problem. That was a considerate management decision for me. Room was clean. Room is small, bathroom smaller. No curtains but room has windows shades which do not cover sunlight at all. I woke up several times because of the day light illuminating the room. One really bad thing was bites we got from bed bugs.
