"If you are looking for a less touristy place to stay in the south of Tenerife, Villa Aurora is perfect. Villa de Arica is a typical Spanish village, up in the hills but easy to get to by car, just 25 minutes from the airport. The villa is large and comfortable, but the real treat is the extensive gardens and pool area. There are so many different areas to sit out in. "We had a very good time in this villa. It has a lot of space, chambers and bathrooms. The view is nice. Walking down to the city is just a bit too far but a taxi picks you up 5 minutes after calling. We had a technical problem but the owner and agent reacted qiuckly and adequate. "

"Overall excellent experience. Check in had some hick ups because access was sent online after we left home and we had trouble with our internet connection and the given phone number was not correct. Was solved though after finding a restaurant with WIFI (so if you book make sure you do have mobile roaming). There was a big construction happening right above the villa-not the owner's fault but it affected us with lack of parking and smell and noise. The villa itself is gorgeous, well maintained...

"Electrical systems in the house are complex and not safe, simply moving the treadmill safety cord results in electrical outages in several rooms. Two rooms without power for no reason, fuse box not accessible...almost every day constant emails about the electrical systems in the property. Notification 9 days after we leave about disputed damage with one WhatsApp photo, then just billed our card is terrible from the managing agents."
