"The house is beautiful and well laid out for a 3 story. The kitchen, dining, and family room area were great for our group with a wrap around port in beautiful scenery. The game room was great in the cool mornings. There is no ac, but open the windows and use the whole houae fan at night for the cool to last through the day if you close the windows early enough, especially the lowest story, which was cool all day. They had less streaming services than listed, but we figured it out. The host responded about 1x a day by email, but we had no emergencies. "

"The Chalet was clean and well-kept, the provided instructions for our stay were so easy and clear, the amenities were plentiful and as advertised, and we have never had the pleasure of working with a host as attentive, kind and pleasant as Chris! The location is beautiful and was perfect for a quiet weekend away from 4th of July fireworks (my dog doesn’t do well with fireworks). Soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking was lovely and so relaxing. We also loved being able to grill and eat our dinners out on the deck in the evenings, while listening to the sounds of the forest.We definitely plan on making another trip out to the Chalet next year, and are so grateful to Chris for making our stay there amazing!"

"The home was a nice place for our stay while visiting our son for his graduation from UC Davis. We also wanted to visit lake tahoe while here. The home was clean and located in a quite location. Has a nice view of the hills nearby and we saw deer, rabbits, quail , and plenty of turkeys every day."
