"This is a small property but for us was perfect, 3 adults. Extremely clean, well stocked. House was comfortable. Owner was super with communications and found us an excellent fishing guide that I would highly recommend - New River Gorge Outfitters. The home was close to Pipestem State park and an hour or so from main hiking trails near Fayetteville. Staying in Hinton was perfect for us. Not a lot of restaurants so be sure to bring groceries. There is a Kroger not too far away but we didn't go into it so I don't know much about their selection. Overall a great stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at Washington Street Quarters! It was well-appointed, but we especially loved the "small town" character! We were passing through, but this made our stay so much more interesting than a standard hotel room!"

"The cabin was just what my husband & I were looking for. There were no neighbors, no sounds of people or traffic and no city lights. Just the sounds of nature and the light from the moon & stars. We enjoyed walking around the many trails, the pond & the beautiful scenery. One morning we saw a deer feeding her newborn fawn. We enjoyed coffee & breakfast on the screened in deck. There was plenty of room for our dog to run freely. It was a wonderful, relaxing vacation. If you’re looking for a place closer to town or food, this is not the place for you. If you’re looking for peace & quiet away from the hustle & bustle of life, then you will love this place! The road up the mountain to the cabin was narrow & curvy and took about 30 minutes. We personally enjoyed the beautiful drive but others might not. There is a gate to get to the property which we knew nothing about & it required a code to open. We called the host & he quickly gave us the needed information. We truly enjoyed our stay & hated to leave the peace & quiet!"
