“It’s a historic hotel so that’s the niche. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. if anything needs refrigerated you have to ask staff they might put medicine or something like that in their fridge in the back somewhere. No way to keep cold bottles of water or anything like that. We couldn’t keep the ice packs for the car cooler frozen. My mom asked for a bottle of water at the bar and was told there was none. The bartender didn’t bother to give her even a glass of water while……

“The property was pretty clean, no bugs, but the room smelled very strongly of disinfectant, the air conditioner was extremely noisy, and there should have been one or two more towels. The bed was very comfortable.”

“Beautiful suite that consisted of a living area with beautiful coffee bar, small frig and microwave. The decor and furnishings were so beautiful. The bathroom not only had a gorgeous shower but the floor marble tiles were heated! The bathroom was large with a nice size vanity and huge mirror. Our Friday night stay was a little loud outside pretty late. There was a big wedding reception at The General Lewis and we could hear the loud music. It finally quieted down around midnight. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the amenities were sufficient for our needs. We will definitely book a stay here again.”
