A wonderful stay! The view of the piton from the room was unforgettable The staff were friendly and super accomodating The wildlife in the rooms could take a moment to get to used to if you're not a big nature person, but I'm a city girl and I didn’t struggle much. I'd suggest bringing extra pair of ear plugs though if you’re a light sleeper as the wildlife is vibrant at night. The hotel did provide ear plugs. Thankfully i'm not too affected by noise, so I got by just fine in the comfortable and very clean bed. The food was very good but would be nice to have a few more options for the dinner menu. The breakfast menu was the best of them all. The pool was oustanding, as was the chocolate making tour!

The next day our trip consisted of a 4 hour historic tour of the island and learning about the many battles between the French and British. Saint Lucia only gained independence 40 years ago and this year marks the anniversary of their independence from the French and British. While they are still part of the commonwealth they are finally their own country.
