“We were looking for a quirky thatched cottage near Abbots Ann, Hampshire, for a few nights and this fit the bill. The beds were clean and comfy. Access was great. We were surprised that towels are not included in the rental but are 5 pounds per person. It’s a very historic cottage so expect this to match your memories from 1966 - cobwebs and all. “No Air conditioning! Bar under with loud party all night long. Windows open for air. You book this room only if you want to party. Otherwise you will be kept up all night long. 90 degrees outside and hotter inside do to restaurant ovens directly under room. It was the worst experience. Jet lag turned into nightmare 😫”

“We had a nice one night stay at this cosy cabin which is in a picturesque part of Winchester near the streams. It's a fun adventure for a young family but probably not ideal for people with mobility issues as the two bedroom spaces require climbing/crawling through a small door. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the cabin but the kitchen is outdoors, which is a bit of a challenge on a wet/cold day. Would definitely stay again.”
