"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. "We had an amazing overnight stay at the Annex. Nancy, the host, could not have been more welcoming, informative and helpful. The cottage was ideal for our particular needs - a rather last minute booking - and very clean and well equipped throughout. It was beautifully warm, and the property is set deep in a very beautiful part of lovely Exmoor. Would highly recommend this cosy cottage for a couple and reasonably priced as well. "

"These apartments are brilliant if you are travelling with children, as we were. Lovely and spacious, with a dishwasher and coffee (ground) machine. Great oven and microwave, fridge freezer working well. Kitchen prep area was a good size, too. Bathroom was very clean and well finished, although the mirror wasn't lit. We couldn't get the living room TV to work, but we didn't contact the host, so this is not a complaint as I'm sure it would've been sorted. The TV in the bedroom was fine but we were unable to log out of someone else's Netflix. The balcony space and dining area were roomy enough for 5 of us. The communal areas look a bit scary and unkempt but inside the apartment is completely different. The lift is temperamental and didn't work on our last day. There is ample, unallocated parking. It could be signposted a bit better, but the directions in the email are good. There was a side view of the beach from our apartment, and some very loud seagulls! Also to note there is a children's play area outside with a squeaky swing - this may haunt your dreams if you've got the windows open! You may hear music from the square or nearby venues, but they all seemed to finish at a reasonable time. Overall a pleasant stay which suited our family well and was great value for money."
