“We had a wonderful stay at Compass Rose Lodge. It’s clear that every detail has been thoughtfully curated—from the mint truffles on the bed to the excellent coffee and sandwiches available on-site. One of the highlights was the observatory tour. It wasn’t just a peek at the stars; it included a brief tour of the property and its rich history, including a scale model of the solar system with the sun right there on the grounds! “This house is not your ordinary house! It is a delightful combination of cabin and modern. Our family of 18 adults and 16 children stayed here for five days and we didn’t even use all the space that was available!Inside there are numerous sitting nooks with a huge gathering room upstairs where our whole family could be together at one time and not even fill it!The front yard was a great place to play cornhole which was available and there’s plenty of chairs on the porch for those who enjoy……
