Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Located on the Riverside makes for beautiful sunset walks. The guesthouse is located behind beautiful manicured 1910 home. Walking distance from Armature Works, Riverwalk, Downtown. 5 min drive to Historic Ybor City, Amelia Arena. Less than 10 min from Raymond James stadium, Airport, Hyde Park Village, MidTown, International Mall. We’re in a FANTASTIC location! You can rent bikes, scooters etc…walking distance.

I loved this place. It had everything that I needed and the bed was super comfy. I don’t really have anything negative to say about the property. There was a couple with a small child running around upstairs. That was a little disturbing however, that’s not the property managers fault, I guess there’s really not too much you could do about something like that. I would stay here again in a heartbeat was amazing and friendly and honey and mocha made it even better.

A week in Tampa
Maria and her husband Geo, are great hosts. Very clean throughout and comfortable bed. If you need anything they will get in touch with you immediately. Ask them for advice on restaurants and sightseeing and they will send you in the right direction. The outdoor space was relaxing with a small waterfall running. We are dog lovers so we also met 2 small friendly dogs, Mocha & Honey. Nice neighborhood and gated driveway. Next time we are in the Tampa area will be staying here. Thank you very much Maria & Geo for making our vacation even better. Mark & Diane

Very clean, quiet and relaxing! Hosts were lovely. After a busy day it was nice sitting in the backyard, have a drink, and relax with the water feature and listening to the our music. Nice walk to the River Walk and Armature Works. A wee bit small for long stays, we were there for 9 nights but we easily made it work for the two of us. Thanks Maria and hubby!

A lovely stay
There are a few things I always like when staying at a VRBO: Cleanliness-very clean and fresh Bed- wow! So comfortable I didn’t want to get out of it in the morning. Hahaha! A touch of caring: water and snacks upon arrival. Clear communication thoughout. I had a concern, contacted our host, she got back to us almost immediately and took care of my concern Couch/futon/TV- not the most comfortable, (are Futon’s ever?) but ok for the minimal time we sat in it to watch TV. However there is a TV in the bedroom, at night and can watch from the bed. (Did I mention how comfortable the bed is… ahhh, so comfy). Outdoor space: we unfortunately had no time to spend in it, but looked fun and cool. Security/alarm system Cutest 2 dogs ever - good alarm with barking otherwise very friendly. Nice neighborhood. Gate shut At night Owner, Maria was wonderful. Easy to talk to, friendly, genuine. Could not ask for better experience with dealing with a “landlady “.. All in all I’m looking forward to coming back to Tampa to catch up with Maria when I again, rent one of her properties!

Clean cozy stay and a great host
Right from booking till checkout, communication from host was prompt and helpful. She and her husband went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We felt cold the evening we were there. When I messaged i got a prompt reply mentioning i will get a space heater. Since they didn't have it they bought a new space heater. The place was super clean. Kitchen had all necessary utensils. We will stay here again.

We had a great stay and the host was helpful and communicative. The location is in a lovely residential area that’s a short walk to Armature Works and to the start of the Riverwalk. There are a few things I wish I would have known before booking, but I still would book again if we’re ever back in Tampa. First, there is an apartment above the unit. Any steps taken by those guests are extremely loud, and any water used at the same time as the upstairs unit made our hot water go in and out in the shower. Perhaps most importantly, there is no privacy. The bedroom has an entire wall that is a window looking out to the backyard (shared by the host and the other apartment guests). The window curtains are sheer, meaning anyone in the shared backyard can see perfectly into the bedroom. We got home one night and saw the guests from the other unit enjoying a fire in the backyard. They were 2 feet from our bedroom window facing us, so we had to change into our pajamas in the bathroom :( Also, the temperature got down to the 40s at night and there is no heat in the apartment. We were pretty chilly that night. All in all, it’s an affordable and nice place to stay in a great area of Tampa.

My son was in town for Charter Captain school and we were looking for something that was not only close to his school but something clean & safe. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay & said it was a great place! Close to wonderful restaurants that were easily Ubered to - if we ever find ourselves back in the Tampa area, we would definitely book again if available.

This property is gorgeous! Quiet street, close to the airport (but not too close), close to the riverwalk with great restaurants and shops. The bed was a dream and the fire pit area is perfect for relaxing. Maria was very responsive and friendly. It was my first time in Tampa and I plan to return. Great location - better host!
Maria and Gio have an amazing location and getaway spot. Cozy and intimate, the apartment had all the creature comforts you need to enjoy Tampa Bay. Location was at the center of everywhere we wanted to go - restaurants, downtown and Raymond James stadium -so close to everything that all the ride-shares we took didn't even reach $10. Binx the cat added "feels like home" vibe and if you have a chance to met Gio, you must ask him about his awesome man-cave.

Great location and better host. We experienced one issue which our host (Maria) addressed immediately. It was as if it never happened. Location is great. Walking distance to Armature, a fantastic spot for dinner and/or drinks, and the River Walk. Easy access to highways and close to the airport. Well worth the price.
