While exercise is good, being ferried around while enjoying impressive vistas is even better. Skip the steep climb and ride teleferica for a bird's-eye view of the surroundings.
You're spoiled for sightseeing choice in Province of Genoa. Teleferica is a great place to begin here, but there are lots of other fine spots to consider. Castello di Borgo Fornari, Adventure Park Val Borbera, and Castello della Pietra are not far from the incline railway and will top off your day nicely.
