“The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.”

“Every year our family/extended family (9 adults and kids) all travel to the area for vacation. We chose this place based on the views and it didn’t disappoint. Wonderful sunrise and sunset and so peaceful. The property has a well stocked kitchen (though is missing a skillet, in case you need one) and the gas grill was great. “This was our second stay at Lost Creek in less than a year, and my wife and I loved it as much as the first visit. The private safari "tents" are our favorite stay for a romantic getaway. A three-night stay was great, and while we love the surrounding towns of Bryson City, Sylva, Wesser, and Waynesville, we didn't spend much time away from the luxurious deck, hot tub, and fire pit. Jeanetta is a great host. ”
