Very friendly staff, always helpful. Great location if you're interested in photographing moonscape overlook or factory butte, or of course cathedral valley. Good dining options in nearby Hanksville.

Cathedral Valley Inn is in the middle of nowhere,or so it seems. Stayed here after visiting Capitol Reef, with plans to head S to Blanding to see all the sites along scenic 95! Had everything we needed, even had snacks available for purchase in the room! Beds were very comfortable. Washed 2 loads of clothes in their coin-op laundry facilities. It was nothing fancy but it was perfect for us. The pool was ready, but we opted not to get wet. Breakfast was continental with make your own waffles yum! Staff were very friendly

The hotel is close to the capital of Reef National Park and is somewhat in the middle of nowhere. The nearest restaurant is about a 15‑minute drive away. However, the owners—a couple—are very friendly, and the hotel facilities exceeded our expectations. They even prepared snacks and instant food in the room that you can purchase, which is convenient for a quick dinner.

The hotel was very clean and located very close to the Capitol National reef park. Through expedia, we booked double bed option for 2 adults and 2 kids. However, our room was with king bed. The staff mentioned that they would not have allowed 4 people in one room with king bed if it was booked through them directly. We got extra comforter for 1 night due to pre booked hotel. Amenities were great. Carry food or be ready to drive 20 min to a closer town which offers great options for American. Mexican food. Overall. Would have given 5 star if our booking was done correctly through expedia. No other complaints.
