Great stay, very nice motel with very personable nice hosts/owners in Lei and Nicki! Very clean and comfortable. Would stay again. Just be aware it’s a bit isolated and you have to drive 20miles to Hanksville for food or services, which are a bit sparse there too

Very friendly staff, always helpful. Great location if you're interested in photographing moonscape overlook or factory butte, or of course cathedral valley. Good dining options in nearby Hanksville.

Cathedral Valley Inn is in the middle of nowhere,or so it seems. Stayed here after visiting Capitol Reef, with plans to head S to Blanding to see all the sites along scenic 95! Had everything we needed, even had snacks available for purchase in the room! Beds were very comfortable. Washed 2 loads of clothes in their coin-op laundry facilities. It was nothing fancy but it was perfect for us. The pool was ready, but we opted not to get wet. Breakfast was continental with make your own waffles yum! Staff were very friendly

The hotel is close to the capital of Reef National Park and is somewhat in the middle of nowhere. The nearest restaurant is about a 15‑minute drive away. However, the owners—a couple—are very friendly, and the hotel facilities exceeded our expectations. They even prepared snacks and instant food in the room that you can purchase, which is convenient for a quick dinner.

WARNING: I would not recommend this hotel. I had a reservation booked, but on the day I was supposed to check in, they messaged me saying they had to cancel it. I tried calling multiple times but no one answered. This left me scrambling for another place to stay at the last minute. Based on my experience, this hotel is unreliable and not worth the risk.

Just a little bit of research and you could get channels on the tv, or I would give this a 5 star. The staff was very nice and informative. The place was clean and very comfortable.
