"This cabin was a very short walk to a beautiful lake and just a few minutes drive from all that downtown Lake Placid has to offer.
We loved the spacious rooms and aesthetics; everything was beautiful and well appointed. Nothing better than a cozy fire in the evening followed by a bubble bath in the large tub. Plenty of space for four, and we enjoyed how quickly we could get to all the hiking spots in and around Lake Placid.
Would definitely stay here again, and give this place two big thumbs...

"We rented this cabin for a week. The location is fabulous with Lake Placid a short drive, hiking all around, Whiteface Mountain down the street. About the cabin: Contact with the host was good prior to our stay and she contacted me during our stay as well to check in. We did not have any issues during our stay, though there were a few things I should mention-they may or may not be an issue for you: steps to the deck need to be leveled, shower is very, very small, overhead light in bathroom did...

"Peaceful and private, what a wonderful place to stay! The cabin was so beautiful… the pictures truly do not do it justice! It was well equipped, the beds were comfy, the game room/media room in the basement was a nice place to hang out and the hot tub was the perfect place to relax and watch the beautiful sunset every night! The owners were responsive and available. When the dishwasher stopped working, a new one was installed within 24 hours!We loved our vacation. Thank you so much for sharing...
