“We had a wonderful week at Whispering Pines Estate with our family of 23! The pool was welcomed with the heat and humidity! We loved the covered porch to read and relax out of the sun! We enjoyed the large table to eat dinner together and viewing the wildlife in the evening. We had an awesome week and are looking forward to returning next year!”

“This rental was hands down the #1 place I have stayed. The charm, the detail, the uniqueness of this rental is, sigh, so on point. Its cozy, but fit our needs perfectly. The hubs and I were in the bedroom. The 20 and 14 year olds stayed comfortably in the loft. The 1.5 baths was a major perk too. The kitchenette was more than enough for our needs. Parking was easy, we got right in front of the unit each night. But, the assigned space and overflow was very convenient, even if we didn't need it.……

“Great house on SM lake. Our college age kids enjoyed swimming off the dock and relaxing on the dock and decks/porches. We did a 1/2 day fishing charter and caught a lot of fish! Nice home in quiet neighborhood, would definitely stay here again. ”

“Quaint, historic property that was perfect for our short stay. Well stocked with essential items needed for stay in bathrooms & kitchen. Outdoor seating area and front porch sitting area. Small country store right across the street and very close to downtown restaurants & shopping. Would book again.”

“The only drawback I was unaware of prior to the stay was there would be no towels. The 10 min drive to Food Lion is convenient if you forget anything. Everything else was great as described, excellent communication with Jack prior to stay and flexibility for check-in. Inside the home was clean, no sign of any pests during stay. I would absolutely stay again and recommend for others.”
