“It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. ”

“The host was nice, helpful and easy to communicate with. Our room had an assigned bathroom, it wasn’t in the room, but just down the hall. That worked fine for us. We needed a clean, reasonably priced place for an overnight stay on our road trip and this ticked all the boxes.”

“What a very special place this is. Wilfred and Vida are truly brilliant hosts. When we arrived they sat with us and had a lovely chat about the house and the area, recommended places to eat and provided lots of local intelligence.
