“It was a very peaceful area! My granddaughter and I explored the creek below. It’s great!One thing I was not aware of and it’s probably cause I didn’t research more is that it is a three story facilities so if you book the lower one, there are others above you kind of like a hotel.The host and cleaning service was gracious and wanted to make sure our state was great! I do recommend this place! There are great hikes nearby too. ”

“My family (me, my wife, and my 1-year-old) made a weekend trip here. Location was very convenient, being so close to both Blowing Rock and Boone. The unit was updated and very clean. Plenty of room spread out for us three. Nice touches by the host throughout. The outside area wasn't the best for our 1-year-old due to the slope of the land, but not a big deal! Enjoyed our stay”

Decor was nice and there were a few extra amenities like cozy blankets, puzzles/games, books. We do not ski but in my opinion it would be a 30 min or so drive to where you would. Heat was hard to regulate and gas fireplace did not work even with instructions (which were confusing) given for lighting pilot which we could……
