**Please NOTE** No guest under the age of 21....This is a very strict rule and we will not make any exceptions. Additionally, no pets are allowed as the owners have severe allergies against pet dander.

*Internet: Guests are free to use our high-speed Verizon Hot Spot. The device works very well for browsing the internet, wireless calling etc. It will stream video however it will throttle itself down based on how much data was consumed for the current period. Even then, it works very well...

The Farmhouse at Ollie Oaks is a lovingly restored 1905 farmhouse in the style of “Chip&Joe”. This farm was acquired via land grant in the mid 1800’s and has been in our family since 1848. We are the proud 6th generation owners and have just completed a 3 yr restoration on the home.

The home features 3 bedrooms 2 (Queen) downstairs and 2 full baths. Upstairs you will find a a large 400 sq foot sleeping loft with 2 twin beds a trundle twin and 1 full. **Steep stairs to loft**

The Farmhouse sits between a beautiful creek with great fishing and the Middle Bosque river that in spring and summer, offers great swimming and kayaking in the crystal clear waters.

Perfect place for the April 2024 Eclipse
I wanted a place in Texas close to the April 8 2024 total eclipse centerline with plenty of clear space to setup telescopes and photography gear to catch the event. Weather was iffy but we got lucky and had a wonderful eclipse-viewing experience! The old farmhouse is clean and very charming. The open kitchen and expandable dining room table can accommodate even larger groups, but for the few of us that stayed the week it was perfect for evening cards & board games. Beds were comfy and bathrooms very clean, with plenty of towels. The back porch is great for sitting & talking around the fire pit. For anyone staying in the front/east bedroom, you may want to bring along a blackout curtain. I'm glad I did, because even with the blinds closed it gets awfully bright in there.

Property was beautiful and the house was exactly as pictured. Everything needed in the kitchen and bathrooms and then some! This property is remote so familiarity with country roads is helpful....the remoteness adds to the ambiance.

Property had everything we needed. Kitchen was so well stocked and had all the extras like ziplock bags and Tupperware that make things easy. Plenty of firewood for the pit out back. Way out in the country but we liked that.

Annual girls trip a success!
My sisters and I take a girls trip every year and this year we decided on the Waco area. This house is out in the country, very quiet and peaceful. It has plenty of room (there were 4 of us) and the kitchen is better stocked than my own! Beds very comfortable, plenty of nice towels, and two bathrooms made it very easy for 4 women to get dressed in the morning. The host always responded quickly to my messages. It was a great place to stay, very clean and comfortable and had everything we could need. Would gladly stay there again!

Cozy Retreat
We had a wonderful stay and the property was very accommodating for our group. This house was clean and very cozy! There has been much love and thought put into the supplies, decor and style. This house was so cozy and cute! We wanted to be close-ish to Waco but not in the city because we wanted to just relax. We loved this house so much! Definitely recommend going to Clifton because it was so delightful! We wouldn’t have went if it wasn’t suggested by the property owners! Ryan was always in contact and so helpful and kind!

Peace on the farm
This trip was for our 25th wedding anniversary getaway. The drive out to the farm house was quintessential to say the least. So quiet and peaceful and lots of wildlife to sit and watch. The back covered porch was our favorite spot to sit and talk while watching the deer with babies eat literally in front of us. The house had so much charm and everything was super clean. We forgot our phone charger and we located a junk drawer just like we all have at home and what did we find? Yes, an Apple charger! The kitchen was fully loaded with everything anyone would ever need. Love the setting and we can’t wait to come back.

THE PERFECT GETAWAY!
We absolutely loved our stay at this location. It’s a little out of town and in the country and a very short drive to the nearby river/ streams. The fire pit was so nice to enjoy a hot dog and s’mores. And the kitchen was stocked with anything you could have imagined needing to cook with. We had 2 couples and 2 single guys and we had plenty of room and fun. The boys loved the outside porch area and us girls were obsessed with the farmhouse setup and layout. It was a perfect place for the boys to go fishing and us girls to make a day trip to Magnolia. Ryan was a great host and assisted us at any hour with any questions or concern. 10/10 recommend this stay!

My sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Got some nice pictures of our back yard friends as well as deer and rabbits on the later night drive. The house was about 30 mins outside of Waco so we didn’t have to worry about any noisy neighbors or traffic and we were able to relax after our ventures out. We cooked dinner at the house one night and breakfast one morning. Would love to visit again!

Our trip was supposed to be a work retreat. We didn’t read the amenities well enough and didn’t realize that there was no WiFi which initially bummed us out but ended up being a good thing. We finished our work Friday evening before we arrived at the house which allowed us to enjoy our work free weekend. We drove to Whitney for breakfast and then to Waco for shopping. We are going back to just hang out and enjoy the country - no shopping, no computers, just two friends hanging out and playing games. Can’t wait to go back!!!!

Great place!
This place was wonderful. It was clean, cute and super well thought out for guest. We appreciated all the small touches! The longhorns in the back were an added bonus. Only thing to know is there is no food close by so plan ahead! We stopped by Valley Mills Vineyards and it was wonderful - highly reccomend.
