The location is beyond perfect, close to San Marco Square, overlooking a channel with continuous gondolas traffic. This is a remotely operated apartment, not a hotel, no reception desk, but everything works flawlessly, The room itself was very spacious and could accommodate 3 (with a sofa bed), the bathroom could benefit from a renovation.

The hotel is a wonderful location, with a gondola dock right outside. Although staff was pleasant, the communication needs some work. I found it challenging to get in contact with them In a timely manner. The bed could use an update, But the description was accurate.

Anzolo Palace was a great place to stay for 3 nights in Venice! Great location, very easily accessible, check in and out was super smooth and easy. The room was comfortable and clean! Unfortunately we had a small leak in the bathroom on the floor (not enough to interrupt the stay) and no batteries in the air conditioning remote but it wasn’t needed for this time of year! Overall, would highly recommend :)

Excellent 1 bedroom apartment directly on a canal and a stone's throw from St. Marks and many restaurants. We loved having our own space to stretch out and get away from the insanity. Windows open directly onto the canal with passing gondolas. Very charming. Has central heating (nice!) and pretty much everything you need to have a sense of your own space in crazy overtouristed Venice!

DO NOT BOOK!

COMPLETE SCAM! STAY AWAY!. Booked for two nights and paid in full. Travel delay caused us to miss first night. Showed up our morning of our second night and hotel gave our room away. Not only that, they kept our full payment for BOTH nights. Scrambled and found a new hotel nearby but had to fork out more money. Do not book or you may show up with no room, and no money!

The location is ideal, but the unit is very basic and in somewhat shabby condition -- the walls have stains, the shower curtain was falling apart, and there were cigarette burns in the duvet. The kitchen is equipped with only very basic items (no spatula, etc.). The wifi does not work -- the signal is weak and you could only sometimes connect to it. The host was communicative and check-in was easy and smooth.

Property was in an excellent location - especially for Rialto Bridge and St Marks. The room itself was very basic and looks more so than the pictures. I had booked it as a surprise trip for a birthday and it definitely didn’t have a wow factor or visual appeal. The lamp next to the bedside table didn’t work and the bathroom light was very hit and miss whether it worked. Bathroom was tiny but enough clean towels provided. No issues with cleanliness. You rely on other guests to properly close the front door to the property, on several occasions on our trip we returned to find it left open. Once inside you can access any of the rooms upstairs which didn’t make it feel the most secure. Didn’t see any staff there during the stay. Luggage was left in an unlocked and unattended room upon check in/check out. Overall the price was worth it for the location but it’s somewhere to stay if you don’t really want to spend time in your room. The tax payable at the property was 3x what Expedia told me it would be so be wary.

It was a comfortable stay and in a good location. Although we got very lost trying to find the place at midnight. Even the locals we asked for help struggled to identify our address. And the picture in the advertisement looked like there was a common area/kitchenette but we never found that. Overall, comfortable.
