This Lodge was very good. Lodge checkin and lobby staff fantastic. Restaurant was very disappointing. Hotel offers a shuttle service (sometimes) to Old Mill if they have staff. We used it one time on Friday and our driver Ranato was super pleasant. He gave great service. It was not available on Saturday, no staff. Parking fee is ridiculous since property has plentiful parking everywhere. Our spacious room was right on River and had balcony that was very nice. If we would have received better service at restaurant and bar we might have utilized the property more. We walked to downtown (approx 2 miles). Not bad walk, but not scenic. Since we stayed off season I’d say the price was great value. If you’re gonna pay peak prices, I’d stay closer to downtown. The river running through property and big balcony was a huge plus. Bed comfortable, room very clean. Sliders to our patio needed updates, one slider wasn’t working and hard to enter the very nice balcony.
