The hostel arranges daily tours and activities, but if you don't make it onto the sign up sheet, then you need to make your own arrangements. “Our bottom floor condo had all of the amenities we needed and more! The closets were stocked with gear for fishing, paddling, snorkeling, etc. Large outside barbeque with pool and chairs made us like we didn't miss out an anything if we just stayed at the condo. We cooked at least one meal a day at the condo which is close to a private-like park at the end of the street. This was perfect for our needs and the value was amazing. This was our most memorable stay in Hawaii and we will be back!”

“The location and accommodation was perfect for our trip. We stayed before and after our trip to Hana. We were able to get to all the areas of the Island that were on our must do list. We had everything we needed and were thankful for how well stocked the property was. The only challenge we had was with the coffee maker, the incorrect carafe was provide. The coffee pot had to be held in order to get the coffee to flow and not overflow out of the basket. I would recommend getting that replaced!……

Great facilities with an average room and service
"The pros are the hotel has great facilities for families, they have some really good slides for the kids, an arcade room, a Starbucks nearby and also car rental. There are two restaurants onsite and a few others within proximity. I also like the lobby area where they have a couple of tree swings, chess and some activities for the kids. That said, in terms of value, the room does not justify it. The bed was creaking, toilet is really small (you can’t even open the the door fully without swiping the mat on the floor), hot water not working well for the 2 nights we stayed in, temperature of the room can’t go below 20.5. And when the engineer attended the property, he couldn’t help with the issue and didn’t take off his shoes when he came in. Housekeeping did a good job in tidying up the room, unfortunately they only picked up the phone once out of the 4 times we called. All in all, for I felt the rooms definitely need a freshen up to charge the price. "
