Summer getaway

We’ve stayed here many times. It’s conveniently located right across Marconi Beach. It has a great restaurant next door and wonderful breakfast bagel a very short walk from the hotel. The two pools were great for the kids.

I rarely write reviews, however Southfleet Motor Inn is truly a gem. Lovely staff/family vibe and no frills stay in Wellfleet. The indoor pool and hot tub were amazing and close proximity to several restaurants and a shop. Highly recommend!

Lovely place in the Cape. Kind and caring staff. So close to all of the good beaches. Alex was amazing, came out and lit a fire for guests to enjoy around the fire pit. Two pools on the property! Very well maintained

We love the location. A quick drive to Marconi beach. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. At night we sit around the fire pit. Very relaxing.

The location is amazing! If you’re a biker, there’s no need to drive anywhere. Easy access to the bike bath and at least 2 ocean beaches you can ride to in about 15 minutes. And easy access to food with restaurants on each side of the property or take advantage of the microwave in the lobby or the great fridge in the room. It’s also family-owned and lovely with a fire pit lit each evening.

Love the Southfleet and staff!

I love the Southfleet. My family and I have visited every year for 20 years. The owners and staff are like extended family, they are so kind, helpful and know us by name. Located in our favorite town on the cape, minutes from the ocean with an indoor pool and hot tub, an outdoor pool, fire pit and bikes. The southfleet never fails and is filled with happy memories for me and my family. We visited in the pouring rain, high winds and cold weather and we still had a blast!

Always a warm welcome and a clean room…

The Southfleet is in a great location, directly across from the bike path, just down the road to Marconi Beach and next door to one of the best restaurants in Welfleet. They have an indoor and outdoor pool, a warm and accommodating staff and they are family run. We have stayed with them many times and will continue to do so when our travels bring us to the Cape Cod area. Obviously their prices have increased quite a bit from previous years but what hasn’t? At least they earn those extra dollars with a smile and a way that makes one feel at home away from home.

Well located for exploring the Cape. Even though the motel was busy, it was quiet at night. Many of the travellers are older or families. Not a party scene, which we appreciated. Rooms are large and spacious. Two restaurants neighboring the motel make last minute diner choices easy.
