"Great home for beach lovers of all ages. We had a 4 month old and 82 year old. Elevator was great. We had 105 heat index and the location enabled us to easily go back and forth to the beach as it was right at your door. Mom and baby sat under the deck and were able to have the ocean breeze why staying out of the sun. Moontide is 5 stars!. "

"What an incredible place to stay! Peaceful and relaxing with amazing views. It’s a bit of a walk to Edingsville Beach but so worth it! We found whelk shells and sharks teeth, saw so many birds and met an armadillo! It was magical and would love to stay here again"

"This is a perfect beach house. The back deck is a wonderful asset - great to watch the waves, rainbows and sunrises. The house has lots of space for gathering indoors - well stocked kitchen and offered everything we needed. Being on the beach is the best!"

"We rented High Seas for our annual extended family beach week. We own a 7 bedroom house on the beach nearby so this was the overflow house and worked wonderfully in that capacity. I stayed at High Seas. It was clean and in great shape with lots of thoughtful touches. We definitely hope to stay there again next year!"

The host was very responsive and the location was just wonderful. 5 minutes from the grocery store and 10 from where our family rented their own place. We look forward to renting again in the future! "We would definitely come back again. The house has everything that you would need. The lot that the home sits on is a perfect place for families and our dogs. Our dogs loved getting out in the morning and watching the deer. We all enjoyed going in to the ocean and it was especially fun for our grandchildren and dogs in the evening. "We had an excellent time here. The house was perfect for the three generations of our family. Our grandchildren enjoyed the games and toys, and the youngest toddler had plenty of room to safely roam about the living room. We enjoyed the covered screen porch with the ocean breeze where we read and played board games, or just talked while relaxing in the rocking chairs. The close proximity of the beach was a real hit with everyone. A short walk to enjoy the waves and sand was delightful. Loved being able to shower off all the sand in the closed shower before going upstairs. The fully stocked kitchen was a pleasure to work in since we cooked every night, and we were thankful for the reasonably priced groceries from Food Lion just minutes away. We enjoyed the fire pit with s’mores, learned a lot at the Serpentarium, and spent a lot of time in the pools as well. Loved that the pools were warm! They were enjoyed daily by the adults and kids. It was really a wonderful vacation! Thank you!"

"We had an awesome stay at this place! I’ve been visiting Edisto for many years and usually stay closer to the beach, but a last minute plan to join a bird watching excursion led me to find this cute apartment. I so enjoyed the beautiful marsh view and the vibe of the area. The apartment had everything we needed. It’s decorated beautifully and was very pleasant and relaxing to come ‘home’ to after a day of hiking and exploring. I will definitely stay here again! I highly recommend visiting the art gallery just up the street. "

"Property is tired and you can tell that there are many maintenance issues that seem to not get done. Upon arrival to the property the elevator was not working. The reason we chose this property was the elevator for my elderly father. I did call that evening and someone arrived the next morning. It was difficult getting him inside that night. I watched what was done and the elevator went down again and it was a simple fix but it should be corrected. Breakers were off to the kitchen and lighting would not work, The chain to the garage door was just left hanging as it was rusted and broken. There was a loose step in the front and in the back there were bricks on the step that were loose. Safety hazards which should be addressed prior to it being rented. You could tell landscaping had been ignored. Overall it was ok but for the type of property it is you would think it would have been better cared for and looked after. I would choose to look at a different property if staying again."

"This property had everything. From the views to the seating outside so you could see the ocean or the marsh and the sunrise and sunset. It just really felt like you were at home. Would recommend and hopefully it is available every year we want to come back! The host was nice and responded in a timely manner. Wish we could have stayed longer!! "

"We had a great time. The home was just as expected. Beds were comfortable. Perfect location with a short walk to the beach. The only issue we encountered was the kitchen pots, pans, and cooking utensils needs updated. They were all very old. But overall I would stay again. "

"House and location are perfect, overall our group had a great time. Only complaints would be that the house doesn’t have ceiling fans in any of the bedrooms, and the we had to do a lot of cleaning to the pool when we arrived. The filter was so clogged with debris and dead animals the pump sounded like it was going to explode and wouldn’t circulate any water at all."

"Part of me doesn’t want to leave a great review because I want to keep this house a secret. Haha!! I spent much of my childhood on Edisto, and this house was great. The only thing worth mentioning is that if you are coming to stay for a long time, it might be worth bringing storage containers to keep your food. That’s always good anyway bc …. Summer - SC Bugs- but the house doesn’t have any empty cabinets- pantry for your personal food storage- that ends up all over the counters. This is also kind of typical of some beach places, but it felt worth mentioning. Some of the screens are missing on windows or may need repair (not owners fault bc they don’t know what they don’t know/ and any guest who isn’t used to screen doors might push the screen which can be hard to keep up with. But - the house was perfect for my family, and we will 100% rent again when it’s available. It was nostalgic- close and easy walk to the old pavilion- close to the public beach path- you can hear the waves from the house. Thanks for the memories. Please let us come back. (Also thrilled not to be paying the insane fees with companies like VACASA- your cleaning fee was super reasonable). "

"Loved staying at the beach house. Enough space for everyone and right on the beach. My only issues were the floors in the kitchen were uneven and there were rust stains all over the house including all over the back door."

"The location is fantastic. The view, deck and rocking chairs made the visit. The home is a little long in the tooth and in need of significant upgrades. Lose handrails made it difficult for my elderly parents to walk up the stairs. The shower heads barely pushed any water out of them. Kitchen was well equipped and worked well. Beds were comfortable and sheets were soft. Our biggest overall concern was the vents from the AC system seemed to have black mold growing around the edges. It should probably get looked at. "
