“Arrived to check in and was met by Tracey, the owner, who promptly gave us an upgrade. The cottage was superb with a modern country chic style. The ambience was warm and cosy with the gas log fire, comfortable bed and large bathroom complete with a claw footed bath. As well tea and coffee there was hot chocolate, shortbread biscuits and chocolate bars. Just what you need after a day of exploring and hiking. We loved our stay so much we stayed an extra night. Waking up to such a picturesque setting was truly refreshing. The outdoor trampoline was a hit with the kids—they had a blast jumping around and burning off some energy. However, one issue we encountered was the insufficient supply of hot water in the showers. This was a bit inconvenient, especially for a few families,……
