I booked this hotel as an alternative to American chain hotels by the airport. What I unexpectedly found out was the following:
1. Though on a map the hotel is close to the airport, in reality is there no direct paved road so you have to take a 1 hour+ route to get to the airport.
2. There is no address and the google maps location for the hotel is wrong, which causes issues getting to and from the hotel.
3. It is far enough outside Lusaka that getting a taxi or transportation anywhere is challenging.
4. The staff were not really helpful in mitigating any of the above concerns.
Most of our stay here was defined by mutual confusion between myself and the staff on why we were staying there. The property itself is also a bit odd; it is sort of safari park combined with private residence plus a small hotel. The grounds were well kept and enjoyable (there is a giraffe and zebra) but the rooms and public areas were a bit run down. When we tried to order drinks/food at the bar the staff seemed genuinely baffled that we would want to eat there; it took 1.5 hours to get food.
If you live in the city of Lusaka and want to escape to the "bush" and still be within an hour of home I am sure this would be a great place for you. If you are an international visiting Zambia, I would not recommend this place whatsoever
Ultimately we checked out a day early, struggled to find a taxi out and finally made it to the hotel at the airport.

"Lovely staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Cleaners did knock on the door for service at 8am which was a tad too early for my liking. Gym was a little warm but otherwise ok."
