Hidden Budget Gem

This is a great no frills budget hotel in a good quiet location very near the centre of the village and only a short walk from the ski bus stop. The hotel has no reception but their are staff about to give guidance and assist. The breakfast is simple but adequate and the whole place is very clean and tidy.

The hotel was pleasingly quiet but the breakfast was subpar, had the worst thin, rough towels I’ve ever used, toilet seat cap was broken, the bathroom liquid soap was almost all used and not filled up and broken so I had to keep pushing the dispenser up, and there was no toilet paper so I had to ask. My room didn’t seem well prepared but I guess that’s what you get for staying at a 2 star hotel. You’re better off paying a little more elsewhere and having a more pleasant stay in Zermatt.

Om man er sent ute så er dette helt ok. Men lange sorte hår i senge tøyet Hår som fløt ut av baderomssluken. utvaskede håndklær. svært begrenset frokost. men er man sent ute er dette ett levelig alternativ har en amazing utsikt til Matterhorn og ligger relativt sentralt, det er positivt.

Das Zimmer war renoviert, jedoch alte stinkende Möbel. Beim betreten des Zimmers kam ein ein stechender modischer Geruch entgegen. Beim öffnen der schränke verstärkte sich der unangenehme Geruch. Die Möbel waren alt und stark abgenutzt. In den Lampen fehlten Glühbirnen. Es gab in dem Hotel keinen Ansprechpartner um auf diese Missstände hinzuweisen die im Hotel angegebene Service Nr. war nicht besetzt. Auf der Terrasse vorhandenen Gartenmöbel waren so stark verschmutzt das man sie nicht benutzen konnte. Auf der Terrasse befand sich ein Bretterzaun wo abends bis nach 12,00 Uhr laut Party gefeiert wurde. Das Frühstück war so mager das man den Frühstücksraum hungrig verlassen musste. Für 6 Gäste im Frühstücksraum gab es 3 Stück Käse und 4 scheiben Wurst , erst nach mehrfachen Aufforderungen der Putzfrauen wurden einzeln noch etwas Käse und Wurst bereitgestellt. Das Frühstück was total dürftig . Wir waren von dem Hotel Rhodania total enttäuscht und können das Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen.

Es hat alles was es braucht im Zimmer, am ersten Morgen hatte es kein Brot mehr zum Frühstück, es wurde dann sofort ein neues Brot beim Becker frisch gekauft :-)
