First, a last minute request for a second room met with a delay as room accessories needed to be repaired. "Lovely stay the hotel was very lovely nice staff very clean and lovely pool and grounds. Bentota was very quiet tho no beach bars restaurants nearby accessible from the beach. But there was more in town if you want to venture out. Drawback was the noise from the train its horn sounds intermittently from around 5am but that didn’t seem to bother others as much as us. If you like a beer have a few in your fridge for the moon festivals x "
