1. Hotel itself was charming, especially the bar and dining area. Breakfast was great.
2. Our room was small, not furnished for us to unpack our suitcases, so we had to pull them out every day to get our clothes; the closet was dark and inconvenient.
3. The room had no ventilation, and the small refrigerator contributed to the heat. When we opened the windows to cool down, the noise outside was too loud. Upon request, the staff did provide a desk fan, which helped.
4. It was Summer, so the sun was up most of the night. Again, the staff provided darkening curtains upon our request, but why did we have to ask?
5. The bathroom had minimal shelving, so we moved the luggage rack into the bathroom to place our toiletries. And the bathtub had no non-slip mat or safety bars for us seniors.
I shared my concerns when we checked out with the hope some of these issues will be corrected for the next guests.

Beautiful modern property, very clean and I love the smell in the whole place. Location was perfect and Oslo in general feels like a very safe and walkable city. As many of the reviews said, it is quite self-sufficient, which I didn’t mind. There was always a girl to help give info at the front during normal operations. My only issue would be with the price…I felt for as much as you have to do yourself, it should have been cheaper.

Good restaurants nearby and supermarket. Bed was very soft. Well equipped kitchen some cups were chipped. Some noise from bin area in middle of the night.

This hotel MADE our stay in Oslo! Gorgeous inside & out, beautiful clean rooms, comfy beds, fabulous breakfast & sunrise & sunset views across the entire city. We didn’t want to leave. Easy walk to the train which is a 30 minute journey to the centre of oslo.

The grounds and the setting are extremely well thought out and welcoming. I knew to expect issues, as when I called to confirm our massages, I was advised they were never booked into the system and there was no appointments left that day. No apologies - that's just the way things are. We arrived early and were told we needed to wait until 3pm to checkin- no issues - but it was obvious we were seniors. We were then told, our room was on the 3rd floor and we needed to walk and carry our luggage there. Why - there were vacant rooms on the other side of the hotel where the elevator was working. I found the check-in person would not reason with me - ie your room is over there. It's too bad, this person was on the front desk and left this impression.
It's a lovely property and has so much to offer
