Punta Cana Cheap Vacations

The resort was nice. Workers, pretty nice but the food options were limited and entertainment was boring. The workers gave amazing effort and truly were the bright spot.

The main reason we wouldn’t recommend this resort is because the food was really bad. For the week we were here we were eating for survival, just enough to stay alive, but remained hungry throughout our stay. If you’re accustomed to traveling and staying at resorts with really good food, this is not the place for you. Our room would periodically get a rotting sewage smell that would come and go. I could never find the source of the smell. The toilet handle broke at one point but they fixed it immediately. The room and the blankets had a weird smell, not the sewage smell. It wasn’t necessarily bad but also not good. It’s all inclusive but there aren’t a lot of food options. For breakfast and lunch you can eat at the food market that is a buffet where we lived off of bread and fruit. The protein options were not only visibly unappealing but also gross. They have the beachouse which is a smaller version of the food market. They have a bar that has American food options that you can eat to sustain energy but are really bad. They have several restaurants for dinner that you have to make reservations at. One night we were unable to make a reservation and we just took an Uber into town because we couldn’t fathom eating at the food market again. It was the best meal we had while on the island. I think that social norms are different because what comes off as rude to me might just be how they are here.
