We enjoyed our stay. We were a little disappointed that they charge for in-room coffee. Good location, good breakfast. The restaurant is a bit expensive.

1- RHouse Cusco is in a residential Cusco neighborhood. Almost a dark street. Gets spooky at night. Not an area that gives you feeling of safety. During the day the area becomes very noisy and apartment windows are not noise proof at all. Also it’s an uphill walk from the Main Street. About 10 mins taxi from plaza Aramas. 2- Apartments are not well cleaned. Found a pair of socks of a previous guest in one drawer. Shower was not easy to use and in one shower the water would not drain properly. The ventilation was not great so the toilet had a bad smell. 3- the kitchen was not very clean. It felt like we were using someone’s house that was in current use. Not what you expect from a hotel stay. 4- we got stuck outside the main building door during the mid afternoon timeframe as the receptionist was not present and door was locked from inside. Even if we had the key to the main door, the doors were securely locked from inside. We had to ring the bell, call the attendant. It took about 15 mins for the receptionist to open the door. Not a pleasant welcome back after a tiring early morning excursion. 5- the WiFi only worked in the living room area when it intermittently worked. Not in the bedrooms. A big inconvenience. 6- the room curtains are flimsy. They do not block light properly. 7- there is no heater provided. Extra blankets are what you get. 8- only good things about the RHouse are the comfy beds, views and the great friendly and helpful attitude of the receptionists.

Excelente ubicación, con algunos aspectos por mejorar El hotel está muy bien ubicado en el centro de Cusco, frente al Convento de La Merced. Las habitaciones son amplias, muy limpias y, a pesar de la ubicación céntrica, muy silenciosas. Las camas podrían ser un poco más cómodas. Es muy positivo que ofrezcan oxígeno para quienes sufran mal de altura, además de infusiones y refill de agua. El desayuno es bueno y variado, aunque resulta curioso que no preparen omelettes cuando sí ofrecen huevos fritos. Destaco especialmente al personal del desayuno, siempre muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar. Como puntos a mejorar, el personal de recepción podría ser más accesible y flexible. El check-out es bastante temprano, a las 10:00 a. m., y no nos permitieron hacer late check-out hasta las 4:00 p. m. ni siquiera pagando. Además, el hotel no cuenta con restaurante o bar fuera del desayuno, aunque venden algunos snacks en recepción. En general, una buena estancia por su excelente ubicación, limpieza y amplitud de las habitaciones, pero con algunos aspectos de servicio que podrían mejorar.
