Val Maubuee Pet-friendly Vacations

If I could leave a minus rating I would, I wouldn’t stay here again if you paid me. I was coming to Disney with my ND daughter, just the two of us so wanted somewhere relatively close to the parks and easy to get to, we have stayed here before so thought it would be a good option. On arrival we found out that there had a mixup along the line and we didn’t get the family room I had booked, Instead got a standard double with just one bed. I explained to reception that this was not suitable for us as my daughter can’t share a bed. Their only alternative was to pay 204 euros a night for a room for my daughter. Again this won’t work for us, I’m not leaving my autistic daughter on her own in an unfamiliar place. I even asked for a mattress that I could put on the floor and got a flat no. I emailed Expedia when we got into the room, which was so small you couldn’t walk straight in to as it opened into a wall in front of you, you had to push the door 180 degrees and try and squeeze round. On our way out I got confronted by two men on reception who were furious that I had emailed Expedia, they were so challenging and threatening that we just got out of there as quickly as we could. We ended up trying to find another hotel in the middle of the night as for the first time in France we didn’t feel safe and were too scared to go back. We did find another hotel and had to retrieve our bags, luckily reception wasn’t manned so we ran in and out. It was so awful that we didn’t even stay

Unfortunately I would not stay there again or recommend to anyone. The bathroom was so small and laid out badly unfortunately that once the door was closed you could not even sit straight on the toilet! Ive never experienced a stay such as this! The door had to be left open to be able to access the toilet properly! The towels were not getting replaced too! Not a pleasant stay, would not stay there agin!
