Stone Cliff is about a half hour walk or carriage ride away from downtown Mackinac. It is a stunning property will great views of the Mackinac Straits and Lake Huron. Sunset Rock is also located on the property. Great place to go to catch a sunset. (If the weather is nice) The property is very clean and well maintained. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room we stayed in had recently been renovated new and was great. Had two balconies, both with water views. Rooms are cleaned and serviced daily. It is a 5 star hotel so it's pricey to stay there. But, you'll pay a price to stay anywhere on Mackinac Island. Only thing I have to critique is that dinner service was very slow. However, breakfast service was perfect. No complaints.
All in all, we would definitely consider staying at Stone Cliff again. Hopefully, the weather will be nicer next time so we can actually catch a sunset and use the pools.
