Great location with a beautiful beach access

The service and location were the top two factors for us at H.E. Every single worker, especially Apolinar and Isabel M., were top tier, friendly, and remembered you very personally while trying to deliver the best possible experience every meal. The location was perfect because the resort is effectively on a peninsula where you can see skylines to both the west and the east from higher viewpoints, particularly the Mestizo restaurant. All the food was excellent, but our favorites were at Los Riscos and breakfast at Las Marias. My recommendation would be to call concierge before your trip and plan all of your dinners ahead of time. Lunch and breakfast don’t need reservations, but it’s quiet all around (at least when we went), so I wouldn’t worry much in low season. The resort has a bit of a slow start, usually everything ready around 11, and earlier close when it comes to pools (8AM - 8PM), but we didn’t mind because it was meant to be a relaxing vacation and weren’t rushing to do things. The resort provided us a shuttle that frequently went to the downtown for free, and some restaurants downtown were included in our meal plan, which was really nice. Those restaurants were equally as yummy as the ones on site. Overall, we got a fantastic deal on Expedia and certainly got our money worth, and it was one of our most luxurious vacations ever. Rooms weren’t necessarily special and we weren’t in them all that much, but we did get a free upgrade. All the workers are super helpful.

Had a great stay at The Club at Solaz. The room was clean and spacious, exactly what we needed to relax after busy days. Food throughout the property was excellent — every meal exceeded expectations. The gym was a nice surprise, well-equipped and never crowded. The pool area was immaculately maintained, always clean and inviting. Staff were attentive from check-in to check-out, anticipating needs before we even asked. And the drinks — cocktails were excellent, a real highlight of the trip. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch resort experience. We'd definitely return.

Great location with a beautiful beach access

You get a beautiful view from almost all locations. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I didn't eat at all of the restaurants but the pizza at Il Forno was good. As were the drinks! I would have liked to see a few Mexican options on the menu, but, I could have ventured around the property to a different restaurant if it was really an issue. It was low season, but they seemed fully staffed and everything was open. The only comment I have is that I waited over an hour for help with my luggage on check out, despite making several calls. I had given myself plenty of time for the airport, but that could have been an issue for someone on a tighter schedule.

Miscommunication regarding price and check in process. I was given a number to call to add a guest and the phone number didn’t work. The check in staff wasn’t helpful and I was given different quotes and no one could give me a straight answer.It took 2 days to fix a broken A/C in 2 of the rooms. Keep in mind it’s Cabo and it’s 90 degrees. I kept on getting the runaround with times it would be fixed. Our resort app wasn’t working or linking to our reservation. Without the app we couldn’t order a shuttle or room service which is of great value. I sent an email to the app support email and it took them 3 days to respond , by then our trip was over. Wait time for room service was 2 hours long and smaller portions. Our front door stop working . The quality of service has declined significantly since the last few years. I have been visiting this resort for 12 years now and this will be my last.
