South Florida Ski Vacations

Very disappointing and absolutely not worth what we paid. We were hit with almost $300 in extra charges for the week, including a parking permit and an unexplained $118 fee. Nothing about these charges was clearly communicated upfront. The room was in poor condition. Paint was peeling off the cabinets, the refrigerator was dirty and badly repainted, one stove burner didn't work, and the bathroom was dirty. The sink wouldn't drain properly either. We asked to be moved, but they initially refused until maintenance said the sink couldn't be fixed until the next day. We were also given a notice that staff would be entering the room the following day for pest-control treatment—not exactly what you want to deal with during a vacation. The second studio was slightly better, but still nowhere near what was represented online. The rooms clearly aren't maintained consistently, the bathrooms looked poorly repaired, and the decor felt random and thrown together. Also, this is a studio, NOT a one-bedroom, and you have to ask the front desk for basic kitchen items. Overall, the property felt poorly maintained and more focused on getting guests into rooms than actually providing a decent experience. The only real positive is that it's very close to the beach. Other than the location, we were extremely disappointed and would not stay here again.
