Tanzania Yoga Retreats

Had a lovely stay, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Nice hotel in a very quiet and pleasant place by the beachfront.

Room was beautiful as well resort was stunning. It was perfect stop in our honeymoon trip trough Zanzibar Staff is friendly and helpful. It is 5min from Paje but so much more beautiful then hotels/resorts there Highly recommend...and we will come back

The property is a gated resort about 1 - 1.5 hour drive from the airport and Stone Town. It is a typical Jamaican/Mexican/Costa Rican higher-end resort. I had the fortune of staying in one of the newer rooms, so the room was nice with all updated amenities. The mattress firm, which is not to my taste, so that would be my only complaint. The property is very well maintained two pools and a lovely beach. I am more of a beach person and the permanently affixed grass umbrellas provided ample shade from the sun. The food was excellent! I loved the soups on the menu each evening. I informed the staff that I had dairy allergy and they made every accommodation to fit my needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property offers a ranges of tours, so that you can enjoy other aspects of Zanzibar. There are currently sea urchins in the water, so you will need to watch were you step in the water. Yoga is offered daily except Wednesday and Sunday and the instructor is awesome. I also had two massages, both were very good for the price. No real complaints.

The breakfast was excellent, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The hotel's location is also ideal, making it easy to get around Dar es Salaam and especially convenient for reaching the airport on time. I stayed at this hotel while travelling with my daughter, who is under one year old. During our stay, she accidentally dropped her sentimental O-ball toy, a special gift from her father and we forgot to pack it. When we returned, 3 days later to ask about it, no one was able to locate it or provide any meaningful update on what may have happened. I understand that misplaced items are not always recoverable, but what was most disappointing was the lack of communication. Even a simple explanation—whether it had accidentally been discarded during cleaning or any other information about what might have happened—would have been appreciated. Instead, we were left without any answers. For a hotel that prides itself on professionalism, I expected a more thorough effort in tracing the item or, at the very least, a clear and honest update. The uncertainty and lack of follow-up made an already upsetting situation even more disappointing.

Relaxed beyond words during our stay @ Blue Reef. This place is a vibe…chill. Luxuries abound in our rooms (we stayed in the apartment). So much space for our family of 4 to really spread out and regroup after a week of safari in northern Tanzania. Snorkeling right from the hotel was perfect for the kids. The breakfasts were spot on for everyone in our group of picky eaters to find their favorites…GREAT COFFEE!!! The staff is laid back and welcoming while also taking care of business. We’ll be back!
