Weekend getaways in North Truro

The Breakwater was $100 for the night and reviews said it was conveniently located next to the beach so we gave it a try. The stay surprised me and exceeded expectations. It seems like a locally ran and well managed property with new furniture and decor. The beach was literally across the street and gave us a beautiful view at sunset. Staff was friendly and wifi was solid. Thanks!!!

We were thoroughly pleased to spend our holiday at The Top Mast. It was a perfect place to launch from to explore the Cape - close to Provincetown and the National Park Beaches. We enjoyed good meals in the Truro area and enjoyed the pool and spa available to us. Loved falling asleep to the bay in an extremely comfortable room that provided us anything we needed.

I absolutely loved staying at Prince of Whales. It’s a super quiet location, right off of route 6. There’s a restaurant right at the top of the parking area & there are several cafes right down the road. The full kitchen made it easy for me to bring food to prepare so that I didn’t have to eat out every night. Pots, pans, knives, plates, utensils are all included. Just awesome on so many levels. You can rent for just a weekend - which is not easy to do with a cottage. Also, this property is right on a beautiful beach. We came in the off-season (9/21-9/23) and it was quiet and the weather was still beautiful. The property manager was so friendly and helpful. Cory is a wonderful and hospitable owner, we stayed just for night, but our impressions was much bigger. Comfortable room with big bed and clean bathroom, amazing breakfast, perfectly located. Great place to stay at, super friendly and accommodating staff, will definitely book a room next time we are in Provincetown. Make sure to stick around for hands down one of best breakfasts in town.

The Whalewalk BnB was the perfect weekend getaway: location is great, facilities were wonderful, service was impeccable and the food was terrific. It is exactly what everyone should experience on their vacation. Go there - you will love it!

The staff here are so welcoming and knowledgeable about PTown and the Cape, in general. They encourage guests to mingle and get to know each other. There's one guy who appears to live on site, in a room overlooking the pool, who can be a bit nasty at times with a horrible attitude. Even though he's a guest, he is ALWAYS there and not very pleasant to other guests. Stay clear of him and your stay should be fine.

If driving around town, use Bradford Street (Route 6A) instead of Commercial Street, which is mostly a one-way road that becomes a de facto pedestrian zone at times. The location is convenient to the center of town and the waterfront, yet just removed from the busiest part of the main street to provide an ideal place for relaxation. Bob and Stephen (and Shelby) are wonderful hosts.

The innkeeper, Adriana, is a gem. She makes the most delicious breakfast every morning, and is always available with a smile and a helping hand.

Great place to stay! My husband and I were a little worried about vacationing during the pandemic. But, we were put at ease when we read about the policies the innkeepers (Marco and Angelo) put in place during COVID-19, and the overall cleanliness of the inn and our room. Booked a solo long weekend here last minute for bear week. Had a standard room with a comfortable queen bed. Shared bathroom across the hall was always clean and never occupied when I needed it. The property is terrific with outdoor hot tub, swimming pool and more. The staff went out of there way to make us comfortable and happy. The room was wonderful, the mattress perfect, and beyond clean. There was nothing to complain about even if one wanted to. This was our first time staying at this property as well as our first time in Provincetown. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. We enjoyed our stay. The “cabin” rooms are a small old school motel section behind the main house. There is a trail from this area to a side street that drops you right into the commercial area of P-town. Nice parking lot. Secluded room feel with big windows and lots of light.
